Entry requirements for British citizens

Visa
British citizens travel under the Common Travel Area and do not need a visa or, strictly, a passport. Airlines and ferry operators still require accepted photo ID, and a passport is the safest choice.
Passport
Check your carrier's identity requirements before travelling — most airlines require a valid passport.
Return ticket
Not normally required.
Accommodation
Not normally required.
Health
No specific requirements. A UK GHIC does not apply in the same way as in the EU — check current arrangements.
Customs
Standard customs allowances apply when arriving from outside the EU.
